She is one of the actresses with a rich spiritual world, where Shkodra’s` humor flows naturally in her interpretation. Her profile is “Estrada e Varietese”. A respectable and modest woman, giant not only in role but also physically and not for nothing has performed alongside other giant names such as Tano Banushi and Paulin Preka, Hasan Smaja, Besnik Çinari and Zef Deda;
Born in Shkoder on January 11, 1946. She is in love with her hometown and continues to live there, which she wouldn’t trade it for any other place even though a better career could be offered in Tirana.
Miloti has never thought of leaving Albania, even though our art has had moments of crisis. Hundreds of sketches and characters with Shkodra’s variety show. Zyliha Miloti has a long 50-year career in which she worked with many other famous actors and writers in the “Migjeni” Theater and throughout Albania.
This real school at that time consisted of names like Paulin Selimi, Kolec Pepa, Fadil Kraja, Tano Banushi, Gezim Kruja, Hasan Smaja, Pavlin Preka, Zef Deda, Katrina Biga, etc.
There is a wide gallery of characters that Miloti interprets and embody especially in “skeces”: “Familja Bush”, “Beqoja ne spital”, “Jepi Mami”, “Fotografia”, “Lulashi”, “Kostandini dhe Doruntina”, “helmimi”, “permbytja”, “Puseta”, “Testamenti”, “Pronat”, “Lokja”, “Dy anet e nje medalje” etc.
The surprises in the creation of figures are not similar to each other, intuition, jokes, impregnated with a phraseology of the Shkodra regions, the beauty that always defies age, it brings humor to the stage beautifully and charmingly.
Its magic lies in its interpretative power.
At the age of 13, she was called to perform as a drama actress in the theater “Migjeni. There was a girl role in the drama “Top Secret” directed by Ndoc Sheldia. She also contributed to the amateur artistic group of “PAM”, precisely here she showed the first signs of her talent as an announcer, singer, parodist and performer in various skits (hilarious pieces).
Miloti started his career as a professional at a young age, still 20 years old in 1967 after graduating from high school. More then 50 years of a life with the professional Estrada of Shkodra. The debut with stage art was earlier, anyway.
Miloti was a student of the “Jordan Misja” high school when she appeared in the city’s enterprises organizing cultural activities. Here, she was invited by the automobile production company “NESHERAK” in a dramatic role of a Partisan. Miloti wins a diploma for her excellent interpretation, which prompts the managers of the legendary “Migjeni” Theater to offer her a place.
Miloti was very young, and since the social concept of her time was quite different, she did not see it reasonable to accept it, but later for the prominent actress of our days, it was written to make a brilliant career in the performing arts, which also shows the years in activity.
Zyliha Miloti is “Honored Artist”. She holds the “Cajupi” Award. Above all, the former president of the Republic, Alfred Moisiu, decorated her with the golden “Naim Frashëri” order, for her great merits.
In 2000, she received the prestigious and very important title “Woman of the Year” from the Cambridge Institute. In 2012, she also had the title of “Great Master”.
From the start of her career until now, the various skits and interpretations with Estrada are countless, where we can distinguish some of them that have remained in the memory of the spectator: ““Ka kercy Bushi ne banak”, “Martese me interes”, “Kunati i shokut Xhemal”, “Toka e jone” ,“Pronat”, “Licenza”, “Permbytja”, “Puseta”, “Dasma e Refikut” , etc. etc.
She also participates in the Cinema: Miloti appeared for the first time in the musical comic film “Estrada ne Ekran” followed by “Our Friend Tili” – (1981) and “Twice check mate” – (1986) where she performs very nicely and with humor.
In 2011, he returned to Cinema with a role in the film “Maya”. To mention the participation in some comedies like the one in 1994 “Pak fresk sonte”.
Zyliha Miloti currently lives in Shkoder. Besides art, she likes to take care of flowers and her garden.
