Vera Urumi – Vreshtazi (1932 – 2019) Actress of the Theater "Aleksander Moisiu", Durres! "Deserved artist" She was born on February 4, 1932 in Durres, (in her passport the official date of birth is March 25, 1932). Veteran actress who created many roles on the stage of "Aleksandër Moisiu" theater. He went to high school in his hometown. She became active quite young in the Amateur Theater Movement and thanks to her talent was chosen as an actress in the Army Theater in 1946. Then with the creation of the theater "Migjeni" in Shkodra (1949) she started working as a professional actress and played there, among others, the role of Marjane in Moliere's "Koprraci" alongside Zef Juban as Harpagon. The establishment of the theater "A. Moisiu" of Durres, made him to be called to this theater, becoming part of the first generation of its actresses, until he retired, with a career of about 40 years. She married the well-known actor Spiro Urumi. In her many roles, she is presented sometimes as a heroine, sometimes as a girl in love, sometimes as a woman looking for her place in society, sometimes as a stoic mother who endures the pain of unfortunate or murdered sons, sometimes as an aristocratic lady and sometimes as a naive and good-hearted villager, as in the plays: The Fisherman's Family / Uncle Vanja / Ljubov Jaravaja / Shadows of the Night / A Stormy Night / Family Honor / Marriage / Engagement / The Lost Letter / Mirandolina / The Yellow Card / Coste's Mill White. She has stood out mainly as a partner of the well-known actor Nikolin Xhoja, creating together with several unrepeatable duos in terms of the truth of the game, behavior, originality, worked with finesse, naturalness and beauty, full of humor and joy, as she was in the comedy "Prefect" by B. Levonje (Qazimi and Hajria), the one in the comedy "Karnavalet e Korce" (Nikollaqi and Olimbia), the other in the comedy "Two to Zero" by S. Comore with the subtitle "Educating Parents (Aristotle with Anen)" , in the comedy "I semuri per mend" by Moliere (Argani with his wife), etc. Vera Urumi for her artistic career and contribution has been honored with the title "Deserved Artist.
