Vjollca Liza Dylgjeri
Costume painter at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e re”

Born on March 11, 1953. Graduated in 1975 from the High Institute of Arts in Tirana in the branch of visual arts. Dylgjeri started working at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” and will stay in this institution from 1977 until 1991 as a costume painter and her first film in this profession was “Tomka and his friends” (1977).

Until 1990, she made the costume sketches in 17 films among which: “After the tracks” (1978), “In our house” (1979), “Beyond the stone walls” (1979), “Gezhoja e vjeter” (1980), “In every season” (1980), “Our friend Tili” (1981), “Taulanti is looking for a sister” (1984), “Shadows that remain behind” (1985), “Phone of a morning” (1987), “Spring did not come alone (1989), ” A boy and a girl” (1990).

The movie “Tomka and his friends” won the first prize in all categories in The National Film Festival in 1977. In the sketching of her costumes, she finds her time and atmosphere, distinctions and qualities of the characters’ character, their behavior, as well as identifications of their socio-economic status, trying to give them as many content attributes and formal filmic expression as possible.
