The singer from Shkodra is part of the band of golden voices of the Albanian microphone. Valdete Hoxha was one of the peaks of the traditional Shkodra folk song with an excellent career, especially during the 80s.

Valdete Hoxha has participated in the Ensemble of Folk Songs and Dances, where together with this troupe she has had successful tours abroad. Thanks to her voice, she was able to skillfully interpret many songs in front of the microphone that still remain in the minds of the spectators who remember her with nostalgia.

Hoxha has also participated in several Festivals in RTVSH.
Participated for the first time in 1974 with the song
“This side of Bistrica”.

A year later, in 1975, she won the third prize with
“Si lule ne bjeshke”, (music by Naim Gjoshi, text by Pandeli Koçi),
also sung by Shpresa Spaho.

The participation in these Festivals is also noted in 1981 at the 20th Festival when she sings together with Bashkim Alibali the song
“Drita e kongrese”; In 1982, there is again a duet with Bashkim Alibali in two participating songs “Festa e lirise” and “Gezuar shoke”.
