One day, Neritani, a young journalist, realizes that a great abuse is hidden behind the facts of his yet unpublished article, which Dhimitri, his brother-in-law and Marjana, the wife of the criticized director, are trying to eradicate.

Neritani, a well-known journalist, decides to write a report about one of the most popular farms in the capital. Investigating the farm and talking to the head of the sector, he finds a big fictitious problem, related to the production of wheat. As a journalist, he decides to bring this problem to light by writing a critical article. This article would directly criticize the farm director, Nestor. Astriti, a journalist, colleague of Neritan and close friend of Nestor, tries by all means to stop the publication of the article, because of the serious consequences it would bring for the director. He directly accused Neritan of threatening the farm workers. Neritani and his colleague Mevlanin think that it is right to continue the investigations to uncover the truth. They go back to the farm, where they confront the director, Nestor and the head of the sector, who tried to deny in the director's presence what he had said before. The director accuses the journalists of blackmailing and threatening him and the farm workers. Neritan's brother-in-law, Dhimitri, is worried about his reputation after the publication of the article. He argues with Neritan and tries to convince him not to publish the article. Marjana, who is now the director's wife, was previously Neritan's love during his university years. One day she comes to the newspaper office and begs Neritan not to publish the article without telling her the reason why. Mevlani, as Neritan's friend, tells him that Marjana is the wife of the farm director. Astriti goes so far as to threaten Neritan by telling him that he might end up as a village teacher. Neritani understands the importance of this article and is more motivated to publish it. The article, despite efforts to stop it, is published and the director is punished for the report of fictitious figures he presented to the government.
