The film was made in collaboration with the People's Theater, Tirana. The film is a screening of the play "Pomegranate Flowers" by the playwright Kole Jakova staged by the People's Theater Troupe. The events begin in the first months of the Liberation, in an area of the North. At the center of the film is a woman, head of the village council. In her work to exercise the functions of the new government, she comes face to face with the overturned classes. Beqir Aga, former owner, fights to protect the hidden wealth. Thanks to the energetic and determined work of the representatives of the new government, on whose side are all the peasants who have suffered for centuries, the efforts of these overturned classes fail.
