The Ballad of Kurbini is a feature-length dramatic film produced in Albania in 1990 by Kinostudio Albania e Re. It is a film adaptation of the novel with the same title by Vath Koreshin.
The film talks about the fate of soldiers who go to war as mercenaries and return dead. Village girls wait and wait for their fiancés to return from the war and finally marry others. A vizier (of the Ottoman Empire) tries to marry a young and beautiful woman, who is tired of the long wait and the soldier husband.
