It will follow as a beautiful memory, that first instruction, the first knock on the door of the "Migheni" theater. Tinka Kurtin, with the first "root" on the stage of the theater "Migjeni" in Shkodra, with a wide acting range on stage and in the cinematography, for the roles he gave, few can get him out of his mind. Surprisingly, on that street named "Hysaj", where that girl lived, in that little house of crabs, as the Shkodrans call it, there was no artist or anyone who was at all involved in art… So this road was empty, no one influenced, no one carried even a particle of talent and artistic magic. It seemed that only age with its secrets hid the magic that would later appear as purple in the spring, with a beautiful laugh, as a very cheerful chapka girl. She would shine in the acting universe, thus Tinka would spend a childhood with dreams, more in her mother's arms than her father's. It often happens that life throws you on unknown shores, and dreams on distant shores towards which you have to walk, struggle and you don't make it… This happened to Tinka as well. Life throws her into a temporary "residence" as an employee of the district museum, while the voice of the stage calls her. They call her dreams to make her dream come true. Like many of her colleagues, she started her journey to the House of Culture. It quickly stands out above the rest. Enters the theater "Migjeni" and earns a name…. Bep Shiroka, Merited Artist, remembers that "when I entered the theater "Migjeni" Tinka had a name and had 10 years as a professional actress. Maybe I am the partner who has the most roles more than others. My first role was in the drama "Nora", but my first important role was in the drama "Irkuta". It was a role that honored the actress a metamorphosis and becomes an ideal woman. Tinka not only reveals a wonderful world of actress, but goes through different situations, naturally, with warmth and authenticity. The role of Valja is beautiful professionally, without mud. Over half a century has passed since the actress Kurti started her career path. When she was only 14 years old, she appeared on stage for the first time. While she celebrates her 25th birthday during the shooting of the first Albanian film "Tana". For Tinka, the first two prizes are one at the First Film Festival with the film "The Happy Couple"… Later, with a long career, Shkodra actress Kurti deserves many awards until the National Theater Festival, held in Vlora, about six years ago, when she received the career award. Kurti scores 65 film roles and over 167 stage roles. Throughout this gallery, mother figures occupy a special chapter, figures as said in a song about the mother; "they don't know old age, they don't know age". In the drama "Gjaku i Arbër" Tinka reaches a climax in the figure of Nëmadhe. The mandate comes to him for his dead sons, he married his daughter nine mountains away. In her stoicism, through the lines of suffering and tragedy, she does not shrink, she speaks to men with the language of manhood. Tinka Kurti is an actress who has done her best in all roles. He has not underestimated anyone, he has played with spirit. Therefore, her figure has been carved by the stage of the theater and the celluloid of the cinematography. Tinka Kurti, one of the most famous actors of Albanian film and theater, has also received an award from the University of Biographies of Cambridge, a medal for high achievements in the field of art. Along with 5,500 other women from all over the world, the Albanian artist born in Shkodran was listed among the personalities who have shaped the list until the year 2000. Actress Kurti, although retired, is never separated from the theater stage. She is invited to participate in many theater companies of the country, which are staging various theater pieces. And so we can say that Tinka always remains young and welcome on stage. When she performed for the first time on stage, Tinka Kurti was only 14 years old. From then until today, her artistic career includes 320 roles, most of them in drama, but not leaving behind the film, where she has performed unique characters. She started her career as an actress in Shkodër, where she went on stage for the first time. Her real role was in Chekhov's drama "Betrothal", which would be followed by dozens of others, such as "The Bullet in the Dowry", Our Earth", where she played the role of File and then Loke, etc. Only after three months of school in the drama department at the Tirana High School, she, along with 7-8 other friends, would be expelled from the school for liberal performances. "I was terrified of the theater," she says. She never got her acting degree, but her talent didn't need a degree. Very soon the directors discovered in her not only the talent, but also the passion of a real actress. "I used to do 4 roles in one year. I had to go from Shkodra to Vig, where "5 Heroes" was filmed, from there to another place. I was tired, exhausted, but very happy," says the actress. The roles would follow each other, from stage to set.
