Bujar Kolaneci (1940-2000)
Economist and producer of the Kinostudio film “Shqiperia e Re”!
Born in Korce on March 23, 1940. Kolaneci has completed his higher studies at the economic faculty of the State University in Tirana. He was appointed as an economist in the Planning department at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” in 1961.
In 1966, he will become a film director/producer as it is called today, in the film “Commissar of Light” and in 1968 he made his film “Open Horizons”.
Bujari was transferred for a while to the external relations department of the University in Tirana and in 1972 he returned to the position of deputy director at Kinostudio for the filming/distribution of the produced film.
Then Kolaneci was transferred for some time to the Party Committee of Tirana, director of the “Brick Factory” and up to the Chairman of the State Plan Commission until 1991.
He passed away in Rome, Italy from a serious illness in May 2000.
