Edmond Halili "Erdhi Naqja, I am Naqja" / "Yp Xijixhi" / "Shaba, Shaba am" / "Ishalla mi ec biznisi" / "Jom tironc, old tironc" / "Bo me na a dump in the city", "Director did they come" ……it's his jokes that identify the actor to the public of Arteda! He was born in Durres on June 5, 1955. He has a long and rich artistic career with roles and interpretations, starting with the variety show of Shkodra and then he moved to Durres and continued his activity with the variety show of the coastal city. His life resembles a documentary with many episodes, with vicissitudes and crossroads. The actor has not completed any professional artistic school, he comes from the amateur scene of enterprises. At the age of 19, he agreed to work in the metal enterprise of Shkodra. Edmond Halili will be chosen as an amateur artist to participate in the festival that took place among enterprises, institutions and cooperatives. 
The discovery was made by the workers, technicians and specialists themselves who had recommended his name to the director of the company, the accordionist, Petrit Gega. Metalikja created one of the best groups and performed very well at the festival held in 1974, receiving the first prize, while the flag was taken by the group with amateur artists of the tobacco and cigarette company, in which Gëzim Kruja was the director, artist and rare talent in Albanian art. The festival took place in the theater "Migjeni" and in this first encounter with lovers of song, humor and dance, Mond Halili will be singled out as the best actor from all the groups. The jury consisted of the masters of the Shkodra scene such as Gjosho Çarkaxhiu, Kolec Pepa, Tano Banushi. For Halil, it was the first time to present at such meetings. 
After completing his military service, he continues his amateur activity, this time with the company "Muhamet Gjollesha". Then he would join the "Rinia" club, the cultural house that sought and collected the city's talents and, among other things, the institution where great names of Shkodran art have appeared, such as comedians, singers, dancers and the much-heard instrument: Zef Deda, Gjosho Vasia, Mark Lekunda; Bashkim Alibali, Eduart Jubani, Bujar Qamili, Violeta Zefi; Osman Mula, Luan Borova; Moisi Preka, Aleks Selmani, Kol Kakariçi, Gëzim Kruja, etc. E. Halili will dedicate the first steps of success to the director of the club Nard Bushati and the director Tukja who selected him and gave him the freedom to go on stage. The club was created sometime around 1959-1960 and the talented comedian Halili will find this institution that produced art like no other club in Albania at an adult and mature age. The next stop for him will be the Palace of Culture in Shkoder "Vasil Shanto" with director Marin Shestanin and director Verdi Taken, the brother of the singer Anita Take. Edmond Halili was the generation of young people who joined by synchronizing the best with the leading artists. Bashkim Alibali is also from this time. Mukadese Çanga, Violeta Zefi, Bujar Qamili.

Halili has produced comic and tragic characters on stage, many of whom remain today, even though many years have passed. From this period are also the efforts and success that he will reap in drama and comedy. These are the years of cooperation with Tano Banush, Paulin Preka, Zeliha Milot, Gëzim Krujë, Zef Deda, Tef Palush. However, the 1990s will bring the actor vitality and fame. Appointed a professional actor in the theater "Migjeni". From the first days of his appointment as a professional actor and until 2002, as part of the variety show of the theater "Migjeni", he would resume endless tours throughout Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro and the Albanian diaspora. He is entrusted with very important roles, while he also becomes a main element in this show. To mention the participation in the show "Funny Saturday of a city" in 1994. He also performed in several telecomedies such as "Pak fresk sonte" (1994), "Gjithe fajet i ka paraja" (1995) without forgetting the shows in the festive night of the change of years (those after the 90s). 
Edmond Halili, the comic actor, also performed a dramatic role in the "Migjeni" Theater when the well-known director and actor Fatbardh Smaja offered it to Veip in "Fisherman's Family". Even in the city of Durres, where he currently lives for more than a decade, since 2002, he has continued to be a part of comedy, performing and enriching his career with many other roles, such as that of the protagonist in the comedy directed by H.
