Sejfullah Myftari – “Cekja”
Well-known actor of the humor and comedy genre.

Born in Polican – Berat, on January 25, 1951. Making people laugh is a difficult profession. Anyway, “Cekja” has not only achieved this goal, but he has already entered the constellation of that golden generation of Albanian humor which has remained in the memory of our art lovers.

He started his comedy with the “Army`s Estrada” in the years
1971-1973 precisely together with the symbolic names of Albanian humor, Zef Deda, Roland Trebicka, Koco Devole and many other artists. This variety show was a special school from which many well-known names in the performing arts emerged. From here, Sejfullah Myftari will go to the professional stage of the city in Berat without ever being separated.

Among the many roles performed during his career, we can mention the doctor “Zeqo Pilafi” with the famous joke “Yyyp Xhixhi” or the switchboard operator with calls around the district: “Aooo ushnja, oli moj eratit”, up to the famous song of the group Lemeria “O Berat, e pate fat”
Of all those roles, Cekja has proven himself that the one he has the most in his heart is the character of the father in “Nje baba teper”, a tragic-comic role.

There are countless roles and characters embodied, especially in the genre of humor and comedy.

After 1990, he became one of the most active actors in many tele comedies.

He also played in the Albanian film of the Kinostudio in 1981 in the series “Agimet e stines se madhe”; in 1988 in “The Historian and the Chameleon”;
