Pushkin Lubonja (1948-2011)
Director, actor, journalist and screenwriter.
He is mostly known as a journalist and director for his work in the Albanian Public Radio and Television. Pushkin completed his higher studies and graduated in the department of physics in 1971. His career took a different direction when in 1975 he started working as a journalist at RTSH.
While his career as an actor is short with the only role in 1979 in the television film series “Emblema e dikurshme” in the role of an investigator, a role he interprets with professionalism.
After the filming of this Tv Series Movie, he continues to work as a director in many shows, documentaries among which are well-known by TVSH viewers, such as the series “Portraits of Artists” and the documentary “Sixth Sense”. Pushkin Lubonja will be remembered for his work and contribution as scriptwriter and presenter of the first modern spectacle in Albania “Europa ’91”.
After a long period of health problems, he passed away on November 28, 2011.
