In fact, she was born in Tirana on October 27, 1943 (because the family lived in Tirana, and her father was a career officer). But Shkodra remains in the heart and as her city. The theater and cinematography actress, who is characterized by a busy and very successful repertoire, started her artistic journey on the stage of the “Migjeni” Theatre. She spent his childhood in Shkoder, where she took her first steps in the field of art (singing, ballet, recitation).

Anagnosti was still in elementary school when she won the first prize with the song “Qingji” by Leonard Dede. Later, she takes part in the first meeting of the pioneers with the tale “Mesimi i pyllit” by Toni Harapi. Under the guidance of outstanding teachers such as Tonin Harapi in the “House of Pioneers” and Prenk Jakova in the “House of Culture”, she perfected her artistic talents and was described as a girl with talent and a future. In the Gymnasium, she takes part in the first Albanian opera “Mrika”.

In addition to art, in the High School years she was also active in sports, in the gymnastics championship and then in the Schools Spartakiad. Her talent was helped by the cultural and artistic life that characterized the city of Shkodër under the direction of prominent artists. In 1958, Roza participated in the first premiere of the Theater of Estrada, in a parody together with Hasan Smaja, and later, when she was still in her second year in high school, she participated in the basic group of the “Migjeni” Theater.

In the dramatic theater “Migjeni” she plays her first role as Nuria in the play “Kunora e Nuries” by playwright Kol Jakova. Roza was only 15 years old and the success in these parts ultimately defined her professional life: she was accepted and appointed as an actress at the “Migjeni” Theater in Shkodër. In the “Migjeni” Theater, she played a series of leading and successful roles, among which the character of Nora in the show “Nora” by Andrea Skanjeti. With this role, she won the award as the best female performer at the Second National Festival of Professional Theaters of Albania.

One of the artists there (Bik Pepa) will call her by the nickname “Çoçi”, which she will keep throughout her time in this theater. Talent, acting and physical skills attracted the attention of filmmakers and Roza started her film career with her first roles: The first impact with the camera will be a nun in the documentary film “Migjeni”, directed by Gezim Erebares and cameraman Viktor Gjika. She started her studies at the Artistic High School, but for biographical reasons she interrupted them, although she did not stop her career to become an actress in films.

This is how she became a 17-year-old debut with a role as a teacher in the film “Special Task” (1963) directed by Kristaq Dhamo. Then Filja appeared in the film “Our Land” (1964) where she met Dhimiter Anagnosti, her future husband. In October 1964, she started working as an actress at the “Teatri Popullor” (today the National Theater) in Tirana.
