Minarolli graduated from the General High School “Qemal Stafa”, in Tirana, in 1960, while he completed his higher studies at the Faculty of History and Philology, language-literature branch, in 1969.
From 1950-1956 he was the head of the music sector near the House of Culture, Fier. Then he worked as a teacher in the villages of Tirana. While from 1957 to 1961, he was an inspector at the Ministry of Education and Culture, and then a proofreader and literary editor in several publishing houses. His only poetic volume “Pieces of Life” was published in 1967. This year he also wrote the drama for children “Day Feast”.
The drama that made him famous was “With the Language of the Rifle” (1977), which stands out for the severity of the conflict, the active dialogue, the open epic form, the high tension, reviving the antagonistic contradiction of the years of World War II between the communist forces and the nationalist wing that flirted with the German invaders in a war between the Albanians for the seizure of power.
However, H. Minaroll’s best play is “Record me too” (1977), with which the “teatri Popullor” won the first prize at the Theater Festival of that year. Among the other dramas that we can mention is “E reja e Kajo Guraj” (1989) 
In addition to harsh political conflicts, with open structures and many characters, H. Minarolli’s plays are also notable for their perseverance and research in language as a means of individualism, for drawing characters with worries and spiritual dramas, people in dilemmas and crossroads, creating epic pictures. massive.
