Durim Neziri
Costume painter and make-up artist of Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”!
Born on March 3, 1955. Graduated from the “Jordan Misja” Art High School for painting. Started working as a make-up artist at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” on March 28, 1977. Durimi has a long career in this field with a duration of 40 years and is among the artists who continue to be active. Worked alone or as a co-author in the make-up of actors in about 20 feature films and later also as a costume painter.
Among the films he made as a make-up artist, and costume painter are: “The General Gramaphone” (1978); “Counselors” (1979); “The Bride” (1980); “One night without light” (1981); “The Second November” (1982); “Long Ago” (1983); “Dream of a chair” (1984); “Stones of my house” (1985); “Don’t be silent” (1985); “One Morning Phone (1987); “The train leaves at seven to five” (1988); “The Return of the Dead Army” (1989); “Loneliness” (1990); “Sako’s wedding” (1998); “Funeral business” (1999).
In the last two films of this list, he is a costume painter. His activity in the profession as a “production designer” continues even after the closing of Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”, such as: “Luna Park” by director Florenc Papas or the film “Burrnesha” by director Andamjon Murataj!
