Dashamir Turku
Make-up artist, hairdresser and painter of Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”!
Born in Tirana on March 18, 1954. Graduated from the High Institute of Arts in the Department of Culture and on March 1, 1969, started working in the make-up department at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”.
Turku quickly mastered the profession and within a short time became one of the most capable cadres in his sector. Together with L. Gjoncaj, they made the first film as a makeup artist in 1971, “When it dawned a day”.
Until 1992, he did the make-up of about 20 feature films as a make-up artist: “Freedom or death” (1979) together with V, Canin; “The Trap” (1983); “Time away” (1983); “Red field, green field” (1984); “Shadows that remain behind” (1985); “And one day comes” (1986); “Circle of Memory” (1988); “Flutura in my cabin” (1989); “Colors of Age” and “Years of Waiting” (1990); “Mother’s Heart” (1993); “The Night” (1998) etc. 
At the 8th Albanian Artistic Film Festival, he was awarded the Prize for the makeup components in the film “Circle of Memory”, while at the 10th Festival he was awarded again with the Special Prize for the make-up in the film “Obituary”.
After v. 90s and with the opening of Klan television, continued to practice the profession of makeup artist on this television.
