Well-known director of Albanian Television, actor of the theater “Zihni Sako”, Gjirokaster and Albanian cinematography.

Born in Gjirokaster on February 27, 1952.
Graduated from ILA, the High Institute of Arts in the period
1971-1974, graduating as an actor in the drama department.
Soon after, he started working at the “Zihni Sako” Theater in his hometown.

The actor was active in many theatrical performances on the stage of this theater, many of them also leading roles. We have often read his name in the television direction of TVSH. Thus, after four years in the Girokastri theater, he worked as a director at the Albanian Television TVSH, where he contributed to the preparation of the Theater on the Screen, the direction of 16 New Year’s concerts, the preparation and direction of a large number of shows, documentaries and television films as well as we mention the series “Dawns of the Great Season”.

During the 90s, Begaj also worked in the preparation of shows such as “Sofra Tiranase”, “Sofra Shkodrane”, “Sofra Dibrane” for the festive night of New Years Eve.
In addition to acting in the theater and directing in TVSH, he also acted in several films of the Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”.
