Ilir Bezhani Actor, director and playwright. He caught the eye with the role of engineer Sandri in the comedy "Pallati 176", a role with which he also got recognition among the Artedashians. He is an actor, but he is also known as a director and lately as a comedian and playwright. He was born in Tirana, on May 10, 1949. He studied at ILA in the drama branch in 1974. He started his career as an actor in the "Bylis" Theater in Fier, where he stood out in the role of Rushka in the well-known comedy "Shoku Niqifor" by Pellumb Kulles. . During the experience of several years in this theater, he also started writing comedies. There is also a period of activity with "Skampa" in Elbasan. In 1982, he left "Bylis" to join the troupe of the National Theater in Tirana. Here he interprets a series of roles, the most successful of which is known in "Pallati 176", that of engineer Sandrit. Masterfully interprets Lefter in "House with two gates", Spiro in "Ne jete"; Apollo in "Prometheus"; Ortensio "The Taming of the Rebellion"; Petre Dinu in "Titanic Waltz"; Morales in "Monserati" etc. 
After the 1990s, he began to stand out as a comedian, such as "God kicks me" in 1995, "On the second floor is heaven" (1996) etc. He is also involved in directing, putting his own works on stage. That's how he wrote and staged 8 plays, four of them at the National Theatre. His sensational success arrived in 1995 with the comedy "On the second floor is heaven" and later with "The Scammers", "The Cursed Guest", "How Good He Died", "Who Will Marry My Girl". With the comedy Porta e perrallave (2006), he won the First Prize at the Humor Festival in Vlora. In 2010, "The Cheaters" won the first prize at the International Festival in Zagreb, Croatia. In 2012 "The Fraudsters" won the first prize for the Balkans at the Film festival in Trieste, Italy.
