Gezim Rudi
Albanian theater and cinematography actor.

Born in Tirana on March 28, 1961. Graduated from the High Institute of Arts in the department of drama and since 1985 he has worked as an actor at the National Theater. Rudi became well-known, of course, with the role of Fredi in the famous comedy “Pallati 176”.

In the theater he performed nearly 30 roles, the most successful of which are Gezimi in “The Life of Another”; Hepi in “The death of a commissioner”; Rolandi “Under the stage lights”; Mania in “Moonlit night”; Dhenderri in “Blood Wedding”; Hofbauer in “Visit of the Old Lady”; JonValdi in the “Sixth Floor”; Fans in “Oportunescu”; Ero Sesheli in “Death of Danton”; Sandri in “8 people plus”;

Other shows: “Prometheus”; “Monserrat”; “Teacher of literature”; “Furnace”; “Romeo and Juliet”; “Dance of death”; “Quo Vadis” etc.

Meanwhile, his last role in the theater was in the drama “Rainfalls”. After a long absence, he returns to the stage of TK with the play “Curse of the Farmers” (2016).

In most cases, Rudi embodied figures of young men in love, cheerful and mischievous, young militants who deny themselves for sublime ideals or moral norms, people with various qualities and virtues, etc.

Gezim Rudi has performed in several films, starting with the role of a student in the film v. 1982 “The Threat”, then in the role of Fred in the film “Shadows that remain behind” (1985).

Gezim Rudi has also had important roles in several films, such as in “The investigation continues” in the role of Astrit in 1988, “Living Wall” Kledi in 1989; “Black and white” in the role of Gaqo in 1991.

His acting stands out for his graceful stage presentation, self-restraint, psychological momentum in the climax and clear speech.
