Luan Zhegu Singer, composer Holds the title "Great Master". One of the golden voices of the Albanian song microphone. "Thinjesh ti por moshe nuk ke" He was born in Tirana on October 2, 1949. His first contact with art and music was appearing on stage at the age of 12 in the children's operetta "The Nightingale and the Canary" by Llazar Morcka, directed by Viktor Gjoka , where Luani played the main role of "Nightingale". Then, at the age of 16, he appeared on stage again this time with the amateur circus of Tirana in the position of a drummer, (jazz-bandist the term used at that time) and from where he would become a professional with this instrument in 1972. (E unbelievable for a guy like him who during the performance as a singer did not move at all, in contrast to the drum exercise which requires movement and fast improvisations). 
However, Luan Zhegu is one of the most successful Albanian singer-songwriters, with a talent that took him to the most prestigious music stages. Awarded with many prizes, for his authentic interpretation, for the clarity and quality of his voice, but also for his ability as a composer, he has received the title "Great Master of the Stage". A title as well deserved as it is a little strange for the evaluation system of successful artists. He also worked as an economist at the Ministry of Defense. A completely difficult job, especially in drawing up the balance sheet. 
In 1969 he composed his first song, "Vajza dhe Deti" singing it himself, it is also the official year when the great singer of the Albanian scene will start an excellent artistic career. Those who remember him in the 80s, imagine a sweet voice that satisfies the soul. A laid back man who is never wrong. A father in relationships with others and a model family member. Another characteristic of his when he sang "his eyelash didn't move", his hand and leg. In that position he started the musical discourse, in that position he ended it. Luani for this quality that everyone knows will be expressed as a joke: "If you played then, they would play. So I decided not to move at all on stage……”. However, even to this day, the famous Lion does not play by nature and character. Always active in musical life, always friendly and benevolent, and above all, he does not compromise with anyone to the detriment of his character.
The songs of the singer's wide repertoire are still sung today, even by a young audience, which shows that the whole people loves him as they have always loved him. Like then, when in the hit-parade of Pristina, he was in first place with the song "Together with the children", leaving behind Michael Jackson, but even now that, despite his age, he is one of the most beloved voices of our music.
