Sadush Ylli
Well-known actor in cinematography and theater, mainly performed secondary roles.
Born on January 29, 1961.
Completed his studies at the High Institute of Arts as an actor. As a child, he was part of the troupe of the “Pallati i Pionereve” as an actor, and it was precisely here that he came into contact with performing arts at a young age in 1974, when he performed in the first contest for pioneers at RTSH.
A year later, in 1975, he played a leading role in the drama “Sons of Partisans” by Miho Gjin, directed by Prokop Mima. Later this drama turned into the first children’s telefilm from TVSH of the time.
Mainly in the films produced by Kinostudio as well as in the theatrical performances of the National Theater, Sadush Ylli was an actor of secondary roles, characters which he interpreted masterfully.
Ylli was an actor in the National Theater, performing in several shows of this institution, of which we can mention: Friar John in “Romeo and Juliet”, the Tailor in “The Taming of the Rebellion”, the brother in the drama “Tomorrow is Late” , Fahriu in Ruzhdi Pulaha’s comedy “Forgotten”, Gazi in the drama “Night with the Moon” etc.
In cinematography, he started in 1982 with a character role of Lushi in “Autumn Rebuke”. Even after the 90s, he continues his acting profession, performing in other films of the time such as “Mao ce Dun”, “Letter in the Wind, “Amaneti”, “Last Wish”, “Future Stars”, etc.

Ylli has had an experience as a director of the amateur theatrical movement, also been active in several shows on Albanian Radio and Television. On Radio Tirana, for a period of about three years, he hosted the show “Journey through Albania” with Agim Pipa.
Before emigrating in 1991, Ylli also wrote two radio dramas in this radio institution. After returning to Albania, in 2001 he held the post of general director of Albanian Radio and Television. Then, for more than 4 years, he headed the children, youth and education sector in the Albanian public television, a position he held until 2017.
