Fitim Makashi Albanian theater and cinematographer. He was born in Gjirokaster on April 10, 1944. He finished his higher studies in 1967 at the High Institute of Arts in Tirana. For a long time he worked as a lecturer at ILA and at the same time he had an engagement from time to time at the People's Theater (today TK); It will officially be the year 1978 when he will be appointed an actor in this Theater, the place where he continues his artistic career as an actor for about 10 years, exactly until the mid-90s. During this time, he performed a number of roles that left their mark on the theater stage, from which we can remember the role of the Teacher in "After the Last Exam", the Director of the farm in "Those who are needed", the role of Ben in "The Death of a Commissioner" ", Bedriu in "Dritat e skenes", Telhai in "Besa", Filipovic in the play "Inspektori", which is also held as his last role in the Theater. He started in the movies in 1967 with an episodic role of a sailor in "The Silent Duel". Then, a year later, he stands out in the role of a partisan machine gunner in the movie "Prita". Other prominent roles by the actor Makashi are that of Petro Mare in "Conscience" (1972); The Attendant (1980); Musai in "Traces in blueness" etc. The last role in the Albanian cinema will be the one in "Death of a Horse" in 1992. He is currently withdrawn from the stage. His son is the well-known musician Redon Makashi.
