Polivaq Lina (1937 – 1981)
Economist and film producer of Kinostudio.
Born on February 8, 1937, in Polican, Gjirokastra. Completed his higher studies at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tirana.
In 1975, started working in the film production department of Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” and in 1976, shot the first feature film “Sounds of War” as a producer.
After that, he made 4 other films, “Thirrja” (1976), “Gunat permbi tela” (1977), “Gjeneral gramafoni” (1978), and “Radiostationi” (1979). He passed away quite suddenly from a cerebral hemorrhage in May 1981, at the age of 44.
