Arjana Qatipi Journalist of Albanian Radio and Television. She took part as an actress in two feature films of Kinostudio "New Albania". She was born in Tirana on February 25, 1957. In the period 1974-1975, she completed her higher studies in journalism, but for political reasons she was sent as a teacher to the villages of Mirdita. For 13 years she will practice the profession of teacher. After returning to Tirana, she works in an agricultural magazine, gaining experience as a journalist. It will be there from the year 1990 when, after a great persistence, Arjana is given the opportunity to work at Radio Tirana, fulfilling her early dream in a way. The first show directed by her (together with Agim Pipa) would be "Zemer" dedicated precisely to clandestine immigrants, the connections with their families. From here, he spends time on television dealing with special programs on taboo topics that have not been dealt with before, such as those affected by AIDS, the persecuted, poverty, someone who has been violated, unjustly convicted, people with disabilities and many other problems. Among them many taboos, such as those of sexual education, the first knowledge of how to protect yourself for safe sex, etc. Of course, at the time it was not easy to talk about these things where people were very prejudiced. Since that time, Arjana continues to work as a journalist at RTSH or the "ivory tower" as she calls it, without ever betraying her since she started working at this institution. As an actress, she also performed in two Kinostudio films, "Colors of age" – 1990 and "Pas fasades" – 1992.
