Ilir Dashi (1956-2021)
Actor of secondary roles in cinematography.
He was born on May 3, 1956 in Tirana. He headed the ILA High Institute of Arts for an actor. Despite his very good acting skills, he was not activated in many roles and they were mostly secondary. It started in 1969 with a role in the movie “Ilegals” (1976). The role that can be well remembered by a wider audience is that of the groom in the film “Toast of my wedding” (1978).

Then he chose the path of a businessman and finally that of a politician as an official of LSI. He lived for more than a year in Africa, where later, hearing the news about his serious illness, he decided to return to Albania, passing away in his country on September 19, 2021.
Anyway, Ilir Dashin will be remembered by art lovers with honor and respect as an artist. actor, part of the art generation of Albanian actresses until before c. 90’s!
