Artur Dauti Director and painter of the animated film at Kinostudio. He was born on November 27, 1957 in Tirana. After finishing his studies at the High Institute of Arts in the department of painting, he started working in the department of cartoons near Kinostudio "Shqiperia e re" / Albafilm-Animation / on September 10, 1976. He directed the first cartoon "Lies have short legs" in 1981, being simultaneously co-author of the script, painter and director. Later, as a director and painter, he made the films: "Kecat d ujku" – 1982 / "Toci d Poci" – 1983 / "The light nightingale" – 1984 / "The voice of blood, the voice of the earth" – 1985 / "The last tick-tock" ” – 1986 / “Bust” – 1987 / “Oak” – 1988 / “King's Mustache” – 1990 / “Wolf, Wolf” – 1992 / “Lonely Giant” – 1993 / “Puppet” – 1995 / “Together with the West of the sun" -1997, etc. The film "The Lonely Giant" was awarded the first prize at the 10th Albanian Film Festival, which took place in the Palace of Congresses in Tirana from May 10-13, 1995. _____________ Albanian cinematography in activity since 2013 Reference: Encyclopedia of Albanian cinematography – Toena 2002 / A.
