Natasha Sela
Actress of comic and dramatic roles. An important part of the “Bylis” Theater in Fier and later of Estrade in Tirana. Performed after the 90s in several different comedies. Drama was her first love, even in the beginning she rejected comic roles, but over time those roles have become part of her profile.

Natasha Sela was born on December 27, 1953. She was for a long time part of the theater “Bylis” in Fier. In the theater of Fier, she had a role in “Ladies from the city”. It was a special moment, as the great Violeta Manushi was invited to this show. In addition to this role, she has played a series of roles during her 22-year career as an actress of this theater.

After the theater, in 1995, was appointed to Estrada of Tirana until the moment it was dissolved. In her career over the years, roles in different genres are counted. But what followed her the most was comedy, that’s where she found herself the most.

This is her opinion, but also confirmation from the directors who have entrusted her with roles throughout the years, mainly after the 90s.

The theater is the one that gives Natasha the most emotion and for the fact that she loves comedy more. While, the film makes her feel comfortable, especially in the telenovela “People and fate” with the role of Bedrie, she was a character of the people.

But what Natasha Sela emphasizes is that artists speak on stage, not in life.

In 2012, she returned to the stage with a comedy “Dream in the Attic”, directed by Erion Isai. Here she collaborates with young actors. This comedy summarizes “Dreams of a Midsummer Night” by William Shakespeare, “Dialogues and monologues” created especially for this show, as well as from the world masterpiece “The Decameron”, by Giovanni Bocaccio.

While in April 2013, Sela plays in the tragic comedy “The Beautiful Thief” directed by E. Petrovci.

She is the wife of another artist of the Fier Theater and the National Theatre, Fatos Sela. Worked at the Cultural Center in the Ministry of Defense. She feels good in this field, as she is an acting specialist where she works with the children of soldiers.
