MAY 6, 1405 – JANUARY 17, 1468 The National Hero, the unbroken heroic warrior, of strength and mind, the strategist of the successful battles against the Turkish-Ottoman hordes, who stopped and broke continuously for 25 years the Ottoman emperor, the defender of his homeland, Western European civilization, for which the Albanians paid with their blood, the highest price ever seen in the history of nations. 500 years after his death forgotten in the Turkish darkness… Kastrioti gave the national identity, as the successor of Epirus wrote such a glorious history for which today not only we should be proud of the past of our country, but and Europe to remember this figure as its protector who played the main role at that time, against the countless army of the sultans, who attacked civilizations.
