Mehmet Belaj (1941 – ) Actor of the theater "Zihni Sako", Gjirokaster who comes from the amateur movement! Part of the organization of this theater where he was active in a considerable number of theatrical performances. He was born on March 1, 1941. He made a valuable contribution to this institution for 30 years in a row during the period 1973-2003. It comes from the amateur movement. Before becoming active with the Girokastri theater, Mehmet Belaj worked at the former Metal Factory, a fact that did not prevent him from successfully performing the roles trusted by the many directors who worked for him at the Professional Theater "Zihni Sako". Mehmet Belaj remains one of the famous names for the interpretations of different characters and roles. He was also active in the TV movie "Shterngata ne mal" – 1979.
