Majlinda Agolli – Mato (1960-2013) Painter and director of cartoons at Kinostudio "Alhqiperia e re". Born in Tirana on May 1, 1960. Headed the "Jordan Misja" art high school in Tirana for graphics. He did an internship for retouching near the Polygraphic Factory and then graduated from the High Institute of Arts in Tirana in the branch of graphic painting. On October 16, 1983, he started working in the animated film department at Kinostudio "Shqiperia e Re" (later it became AlbaFilm Animacion). She worked for some time under the direction of other directors as an animator, making in 1984 the film "Strange Trim" (co-author). Her first film as a director and painter was "Elona and the dallandyshja" in 1985, where her artistic and directorial skills come to the fore. In the years 1986-1987, in parallel with work, she followed a one-year specialization course for directing and in 1988 she received this title as a director and painter of cartoons. This year, she was accepted as a member of the League of Writers and Artists of Albania. In 1988, he made the film "Keshtu po", which was awarded the medal for direction and drawings at the 7th Documentary and Cartoon Film Festival, which ended in April of last year. 1988. While the film itself is honored with an encouraging award. Until 1992, he made other films such as: "Leaf" (1988); "Struggle goes in vain" (1988); "Worm" (1989); "Bird and his shadow" (1992); the latter made with the cellophane technique and which takes part in the International Film Festival in Ankara, Turkey in 1993 and also at the 10th Albanian Film Festival in May 1995. Majlinda Agolli-Mato, from 1993, was involved with posters and book illustrations such as: Poster of the Week of the Drawing Film Panorama of the Studio 1993, the series of illustrations "Yllka in the world of fantasy and reality", illustrations of the fable book for children "City mouse and field mouse". In 1995, she started working at the National Gallery of Art in the Restoration Laboratory, where she actually completed a course for restoration painters. She has done the partial restoration of over 50 works as well as full restoration of some works of the Gallery, co-author in the restoration of 6 paintings of the Palace of the Brigades, Zeus, Diana, Mercury, Apollo, Mars, Venus by the Italian painter Pietro Da Cartona. To mention also the restoration of some icons and some posters. Majlinda Agolli-Mato, became the head of the conservation and restoration laboratory of this Gallery, she went to Paris to restore the emblematic work of the Idromenos School "Nena Tone".
