Llazar Lipiviani (1923-1990) Director of the "New Albania" Kinostudio from 1958-1963! He was born in Permet on June 1, 1923. He was connected from the beginning with the National Liberation Anti-Fascist movement, participating with arms in hand until the liberation of the country. He worked until 1946 in the army with the rank of major in important positions. Later, he was appointed as Deputy Minister of Finance and for a long time Chairman of the Committee of Physical Culture and Sports under the Council of Ministers. In 1958, he was appointed director of Kinostudio, where he worked with devotion until 1963, at a time when the perspectives of a large cinematographic production were being projected and a series of studies were carried out in this field. 
In 1963, he was transferred for health reasons, being appointed as director for the construction of the Great Palace of Culture in Tirana. After that, he was appointed director of the Enterprise for the production of educational and sports equipment, where he stayed until he retired. Changed life on April 4, 1990.
