Joan Zhonga
Painter and director of the animated film!
Zhong is born on April 5, 1957. Graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts (today the Academy of Arts) in Tirana for fine arts. On August 21, 1981, he was appointed as a painter in the department of cartoons in Kinostudio “New Albania”, “Albafilm Animacion”.
Zhonga works here as a painter for several years under the direction of other directors and in 1984 he makes his first film as a painter and director, “Gjimnastika e ariut”.
Until 1990, he made several films with different themes such as “Era and Balloon” – 1985 / “Toys and Miri” – 1986 / “Happy Again” – 1987 / “Rare Egg” co-authored with S. Tacin – 1988, honorable even with a price.
His film “Again among us” was awarded the “Aleksandwer Moisiu Award” for the year 1987.
