Actress of the “AZ Cajupi” Theater, Korce and Albanian Cinematography.

One of the veterans of Albanian acting. Born in Korça on March 2, 1936. Caci comes from the artistic movement of amateur theatrical groups in the city where she was born. Her acting skills with these groups caught the eye of the director Dhimitër Trajçe, bringing Valentina closer to the theater group set up near the City’s Palace of Culture. Only one year after the creation of the professional Korca theater and based on her acting skills that Caci had shown in the amateur group, she was appointed an actress with this troupe, joining the founding generation of the “Andon Zako Cajupi” theater in Korca.

Throughout her artistic career, different directors have entrusted her with important roles, which Valentina Caci has performed with professionalism, always rewarding their trust. Among the many roles played by her, we can mention:

Valentina Caci has also made a significant contribution to Albanian cinema by acting in some of them, albeit in episodic roles.
“Lady from the city” – 1976, “Mesonjetorja” – 1979 in the role of Anthulla; “Me hapin e shokeve” – 1979, “Comradess from the village” – 1980 in the role of Kia, “Brothers and friends” – 1980 in the role of Vaso’s mother, etc. With the characteristic roles and characters, skillfully played, on the stage, and especially in the film, Valentina Caci gained sympathy and was applauded by many generations, leaving us a legacy in theater and cinematography. She has been honored with the title of “Honored Artist”. Mrs Valentina Caci passed away on July 11, 2019.
