Fatmir Xhelili (1951-2020) Actor of the comedy theater "Bylis" – Fier Born in Selenice, Vlora, on December 23. He graduated from the electrical high school in 1965. He worked as an electrician at the oil plant in Ballsh. His talents as a comedian were shown in the activation in the Amateur Movement of the city of Fier and in the "Bylis" theater with several secondary dramatic roles. In 1982, he was accepted as a professional actor in Estrada e Fieri, where he continued until 2020. Despite his desire to perform in drama, he has the greatest career in comedy. It was the director Pellumb Kulla who gave him the first role in the comedy entitled "English Shoes". Natural and subtle in humor, contrary to banal forms with an expressive eye and good stage adaptation, he created a multitude of figures, such as the mayor of "Servet bey gives a solution", the writer in "The writer in his tower", Arixjiu in "We grow old with the troubles of the world" did in "Fshatari and cadiu" etc. In addition to performing in literary dramaturgical genres of variety theater such as short comedy, skit, monologue, dialogue, etc., his talent was complemented and improved further with the inspiration he gave to several characters in the genre of comedy, such as: Llomovi in " Chekhov's "Betrothal" (1995); Bushi in Ilir Bezhani's "How well did he die" (2002); Bufi in "Zi e me zi"; koci in "Vllazeri e interest"; Legeni in "Akraballeqe", three comedies by Kristo Flloqi united in one play (2004). His greatest achievement was the role of a prisoner in Neil Simon's Prisoner of the 15th Floor (2007); "Two Dozen Roses", "One and a Half a Fool", Also in the dramas "Pazari", "Vite te ke hirara", "Neighbors", some of which were directed by Serafin Fanko, Dhimitër Orgocka, Gëzim Kama, etc. For 46 consecutive years, he has performed alongside big names such as Fuat Boçi, Luftar Paja, Hajrie Rondo, etc. During his career, Fatmir Xhelili has performed about 180 roles in drama and comedy, where he has been awarded 4 first prizes as the best actor.
