Fuat Cano
Economist, finance and producer.
Born in Gjirokaster on September 27, 1938.
He finished the University of Tirana, in the department of finance in 1958.
Cano worked for a while as a financier and instructor at the former Central Youth Committee. Then in 1977, he was appointed to the Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”.
He made only two films as a producer: “Concert in the year `36” (1978) and “From the middle of darkness” (1978);
Cano stood out for his ability and correctness and after working for some time in the organization of production (in the film production department), in 1986 he was appointed head of the Finance Department where he stayed and worked with dedication until 1993.
After that he moved to a private firm as a financier and in 1997 he returned again to the studio “Alba Film” (former Kinostudio) as deputy director!
