Sander Prosi (1920-1985) and Sulejman Pitarka (1924-2007) People’s Artists & Honored of the Nation.
March 24, 1985!
40 years ago on this tragic date for Albanian art, it is the great loss of Sander Prosi who leaves life first, to remain forever in the film as the monumental symbol of the efforts for the light of knowledge, of the path of Albanian letters and Albanian independence.
Dhaskal Todri, the wise old man Ismail Qemali, the general …… and many other figures where with his voice and image he will lead us on the path towards the new millennia, with the only passport, our identity as Albanians.
24 mars 2007!
22 years after Sandri, Sulejman Pitarka also leaves this life, not only a brilliant actor but also a playwright who gave Albanian dramaturgy the work “The Fisherman’s Family”.
Therefore, in the memory of the nation, these two colossuses will be forever, in the pantheon of immortality.
