In the border region, soldiers watch for footsteps and suspect border violations. Iliri, a soldier of the regiment, begins to suspect the villager Shan Shopeli, who is engaged in hunting, but his goal is to enable the introduction of a gang of foreign agents. They fall on their tracks where there was a battle, in which Iliri is seriously injured and loses his life.
