Ferial Alibali – Meçule ( 1933 – 2011) , actress of the "Aleksander Moisiu" Theater – Durres and the People's (National) Theater. NOTE: The actress was born in Lushnje in 1933 and, according to the book of the critic prof. Josif Papagjoni in "Encyclopedia, Theater and Albanian Cinematography, the date is January 10, which we are taking as correct. In the other book "60 years of National Theatre" by Mr. Flori Slatina, quoted on p. 64 as June 10 (?). Meanwhile, in the book of another critic Mr. Abaz Hoxha is not even mentioned in the "Encyclopedia of Albanian Cinematography". So this is the current chaotic situation and information about some actresses. Ferial Alibali is one of those actresses who "lost" and were forgotten in the archives of the respective Institutions. The leaders of yesterday and today know the reason. A lack of information is noticed among these actresses who were censored in the communist system for the "stain in their biography" and why they continue to remain so even in this Ottoman-type government system that was applied in Albania after the 90s, and which is sold to the Albanians as a democracy, with the rights of freedom, speech…….! In 1952 Ferial Alibali completed the artistic high school, "Jordan Misja" in Tirana in the acting department with professor Lazer Filipi, Kadri Roshi and Zina Andri. Immediately after finishing her studies, she started working as an actress in the "AZ Cajupi" Theater in Korce. In 1953, you will perform with the Durres Theater troupe, "A. Moses". With this troupe, she will also perform the role of a protagonist in Fatmir Gjates' play "Girl from the village", which is eye-catching and highly anticipated by the audience of the time. Another successful role of Ferial was in the operetta "Era e lira" by Dunajevski in 1954, where she demonstrated not only her proven qualities as an actress but also her qualities as a dancer and singer. A year later, in 1955, she was appointed an actress of the People's Theater, where she continued her activity until 1976. This year she will leave her job for political reasons, sending her to work as a tailor in the clothing department, after the imprisonment of her husband on an indictment which had only one line. "'Agitation against popular power' cost him 10 years in prison in Spač, On the stage of the People's Theatre, the actress Alibali will perform about 100 roles, among which we can highlight: Mira in "The Fisherman's Family" by S. Pitarkes, performed in three stage versions; Masha in Korneicuk's "Kremlin Hours"; Mirandolina in Goldoni's "Our Lady of the Inn"; Sonja in Cehov's "Uncle Vanja"; the woman in Nazim Hikmet's "Strange" or in "Morals of Mrs. Dulska", where the Alibali-Mima duet can never be forgotten by anyone who has seen it. One of her impressive figures with a dramatic and tragic emphasis, was the old woman Nice in the dramatization of Kadare's novel "The General of the Dead Army", where she drew with mastery and strong feeling, the painful wife and mother, huge and haunted by death. of the daughter, and filled with hatred towards her killers. The interpretation of Ferial Alibali, in her many roles, stands out for her temperament, liveliness and plasticity, for her freedom and organicity, creating a lively and often hilarious atmosphere on stage. He also managed to play male roles like Muste in the drama "Halili and Hajria" (1954). On the movie screen, you can remember the artedadeshi in "Ne malet me birlim cover" (1971). After retiring, Ferial Alibali never had to return to the stage. I changed my life on May 14, 2011 at the age of 78. Ferial Alibali has been decorated by the President of the Republic with several orders and medals. He also performed in shows such as: Makar Dubrava; Intrigue and love; After two years; Doctor Alexi; Cuca of the mountains; The house on the boulevard; Event at the factory.
