Elez Kadria May 6, 1941 – August 11, 2015 Actor, director, part of the history of the theater "Migjeni"! He was born in Shkoder on May 6, 1941. He completed his higher studies at the High School for Actors "Aleksandër Moisiu" near the People's Theater (today the National Theater) and in 1965 he started working as an actor at the "Migheni" Theater. He was an actor with a high load of roles in many premieres of successful shows of this Theater, among which we can mention "Lagjia e varfer"; "Cartridge in Paje"; "Disruption"; Arber's Blood"; "Birth in the Sterngate"; "With dirty hands"; His first role in cinematography will be the role of Fatos in the film "Special Task" in 1963. Then in 1966, he will be Maliqi in the film "Oshtime ne pstost". This is how the actor from Shkodra starts his artistic career, who will perform in a total of 10 feature films and television. Almost 10 years later, he returns to the film precisely in 1977 in "A difficult journey", where he plays the role of the secretary of the Party. Then he continues with the films (1979) "The days that brought spring" (TV film) where he plays the role of a capobanda; The beginning of the 80s Elez Kadria will be more present on the movie screen, so in v. 1982 he will play in two films, in "Friends" in the role of Gjon Vusha and in "Besa e korze" where he is Pjetër Ukakeqi, the Mayor of the Municipality; His name will be present in the following years as well, with 1983 and 1984 in two films for each year, in "Gracka" (1983) – Qamil Borodina, "The end of a feud" (1983) Dani; "Militant" (1984) – Major Ndrec Kola, Commander of the Gendarmerie and on TV "Time Waits" (1984) with the role of Abdullah Varoshi (Miku); To return to the theater once again, in 1976 he performed the play "Lezja" brilliantly. In 2003, he successfully performed a role in the monodrama "Le ultime lune" (The last months), reaching one of the highest levels of acting, where he re-displayed some of his best qualities in this art, like the truth of acting, deep emotions, inner balance, etc. He has also been successful as a director at the "Migjeni" Theater, where he distinguished himself by staging several plays such as the drama "The Inspector's Visit" Xh. Prislit, in the comedy "Millionaire without any problems" by Dionis Bubani, staged in the Theater of this city on November 12, 2005. In April 2010, today's Albanian family with its worries and dramas are placed in the theater "Migjeni" through the drama of Fadil Krajes entitled "Between two pains" directed by Elez Kadris. Joy, disappointment, love and elaborate intrigues within a family. The brother's accusations against the sister, the mother's disappointment with her son, a father on the verge of death. Elez Kadrija has been evaluated and decorated with the "N. Frasheri Order" Classes I and II for the professional acting level and for his contribution to the Albanian scene, as well as with the evaluation "Mirennohje" from the Prefecture of Shkodra with the motivation: "For many years of high artistic level contribution to the development of art and culture in 100 years of statehood". Lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA).
