Mit'hat Fagu Film director and painter. He was born in Tirana on September 4, 1937. After finishing high school for sculpture, his journey in art did not stop there. Competed just read an announcement for a film director's scholarship in Moscow. Out of 500 people, the first one is selected. This is how he goes to the Moscow Institute of Cinematography for feature film directing. But fate did not want the artist to defend his degree in Russia. After three years, he graduated from the High Institute of Arts in Tirana. She started working in cinematography in 1959 as an assistant director and then as a director of documentary films. Among the documentary films shot by him are: "Story for oilmen" – 1965; "The mountain is calling us" (where he is also an operator) – 1966; "They ate the mountain" – 1970; "Hygiene, hygiene" – 1971; "The Donors of Life" – 1971; "Surgery" – 1971 etc. In 1968, he shot the first feature film "Prita" and continued again with the documentary film. In 1973, he shoots a documentary dedicated to the technical-scientific revolution built on investments and the confrontation of opinions between specialists and state officials. This film caused reactions from the bureaucratic apparatus, being considered ideologically dangerous, and after many debates, its screening was suspended, condemning and expelling director Fagu from Kinostudio. He worked for several years in the brick factory in Vore near Tirana, in 1985 he returned to Kinostudio where, for his painting skills, he was appointed to the cartoon department.
