Milto Kutali Theater director. He was born in Tirana on September 4, 1960. He completed his higher studies at the High Institute of Arts in the department of directing in 1986. He then started working as a lecturer in the directing department at this institute and from 2003 to 2007 he was in charge. of the Department of Directing-Scenography-Choreography and Theater Theory. He developed his further professional training in Italy, Germany and Romania. The highlights were the performances on stage by the students, such as: "Zi e me zi" (1987) by K. Floqi; "The way back" (1994) to O'Neil; "Gof" (1997) by A. Pashku; "Kesulkuqja albanian" (1999), self-authored winner of the prize at the Balkan Festival in Thessaloniki. Naturally, he moved on to performances outside the Academy of Arts, with Professional Theater Troupes. He has realized over 40 theater projects in several Albanian theaters, mostly on the stage of the Academy of Arts, with the National Theater, in the Shqip Theater in Skopje, in several theaters in Kosovo. His tendencies lean more towards satire and comedy, but he has also staged drama and tragedy, such as "The Walrus" by Pirandello; Sebastian's "Nameless Star"; "Electra" by Sophocles. In 1996, he staged Ionesco's "Rhinoceros". In 2000, he directed the comedy "Accidental death of an anarchist" by Dario Fo. It continues with the comedy "A man with roses in Atelier 31" by D. Fo. In addition to well-known authors from world dramaturgy, he also brought to the stage some pieces by Albanian authors. Thus, in 2002, the "Beauty" of Islam; the dramatization of the well-known work of I. Kadares "The general of the dead army" set in the theater of Gjilan in Kosovo in 2001, brought a special event where the ironic and sarcastic element gains a lot, the alienation in the liberating form against the incriminated political missions that are hidden by humane slogans and the occult logic of the law of violence… The dramatization of the novella "Doctor gjilpera" by F. Konice in the "Skampa" Theater of Elbasan, under the title "Te fortet" in 2003, has also found tempting ideas. In 2003, for the first time in Kosovo, the opera "Dasma arbereshe" by Rauf Dhomi was staged with the Kosovo Opera. In 2004, he won the title of "Professor" .
