Diana Hoxha
Executive painter and cartoon animator at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re”.
Born in Tirana on February 26, 1958. Diana is the daughter of the engineer and cinematographer Abaz Hoxha. Graduated from the Artistic Lyceum “Jordan Misja” for painting.
In 1978, started working at the plastic factory in the city of Durres, in the department of games for children. In September 1984, she took part in a competition organized at Kinostudio “Shqiperia e Re” for a painter in a cartoon, where she took first place and where she immediately started working in this institution.
Gradually, together with N. Vodica and S. Thaci and others, Diana became one of the most skilled painters in animation, specializing mainly in dolls.
Diana has made about 15 films under the direction of directors B. Ikonomi, V. Droboniku; J. Zhonga; E. Economy; G. Varfi etc.
Among the films made by her as executive paintings and animators are: “Era and Balloons” (1985); “The voice of the blood, the voice of the earth”; “The spider and the beetle”; “The bee and the pigeon” “The turtle and the rabbit”; Pendesa e Arushi”; “Little Bee”; “The whole world laughs”.
In July 1990, she first immigrated to France and later to Germany in Frankfurt, where Diana works outside her profile.
