Gjergj Prevazi Choreographer, teacher. He was born in Durrés, on May 21, 1964. He completed his advanced studies at the Academy of Arts in Tirané, in the choreography department, in 1987. He worked as a choreographer at the theater "A. Moisiu" from Durres, coordinator at the International Cultural Center in Tirané, while from 1997 onwards he was a choreographer lecturer at the Academy of Arts, head of the Department of Stage Movement (1997-2000), founder of the company "Albanian Dance & Theatre", the first and only one of these Iloji applied modernist forms to choreography, becoming the most successful carrier and initiator of Dance-Theatre in the Albanian space (Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia), with a series of performances, such as: "Transition" 2, "Don't hear the gong", "Performance", "Kah vetsya", "Lukja". Choreographed for the opera of Tirana, Pristina; participated in more than 25 festivals, winner of the first prize "Delphino d' argento" at the international festival "Music World", in Fivizzano, Italy; the director of the international festival of Dance-Teatr in Albania, where the last experience of this new type of theater took place. He has performed choreography in many theater performances, Shtréngata" (1998), "Stiné e mertzishte né Olimp" (2000), "PaIIati i endrrave" (200I), "Oresti" (2004), "Women's School" (2004), "Franku V" (2008), B. Brecht's "Poshtepérpjetat e arjaisé" (Opera per three grosh) (2008), reaching an artistic peak in "Medea" (2006), with the application of an expressionist language.
