Flutura Çangu, the VAT announcers yesterday and Alketa Vejsiu today!

Maybe today not everyone remembers her, but she was for many years one of the most distinguished announcers of the time, she was part of those charming girls who magnetized the audience in the presentation of the program, television or a music show such as the Festivals in Radio-Television, the Army Ensemble or the Folklore Festival, events which were presented by these girls chosen with special talents, as was Mrs. Flutura Çangu, a culture of speaking with a clear diction and purity in the pronunciation of each vowel and consonant , of each word and phrase as a whole. Clear pronunciation and meaningful accuracy was once and should still be today, a necessary condition for every presenter, speaker or announcer. Flutura Çangu, charming and pleasant girl of v. `70 / `80s, properties which she still maintains today even as the years pass, she was skilled and prepared in this craft. She was the legendary announcer of the Army Ensemble and the Folklore Festival, even in 1973, alongside the actor Pandi Siku, he successfully presented the Song Festival on RTSH. * * * So, it is not exactly like that according to the blundering declaration of Mrs. Alketa Vejsiu, said on the stage of "San-Remo", a little while ago, in front of the Italian public, who places herself as the first emancipated woman of the Albanian society and the first presenter in the history of the Song Festival. How untruthful and ridiculous are our artists today, just to gain a little name… Mrs. Vejsiu, not only does she lie to the world (and only she knows the reason why), but at the same time, she insults the Albanian society as not emancipating and sit down the values of many female artists, presenters not only of the program on Tvsh but also of hundreds of thousands of different musical events over the years, since television was opened in Albania for the first time, that is, in 1954 with the voice of the first lady announcer Dear Stoli Beli. Alketa, without wanting to deny her abilities, even though she does not quote her, must have at least heard that the first female presenter of the Song Festival in Albania of unemancipated women (according to her) was the great actress Margarita Xhepa (A. P) in 1962, precisely in the first edition of this marked event of our light music, which was only recorded on Radio Tirana, becoming from this year a companion to the "San-Remos" Festival in Italy . Ms. Alketa has managed to read at least the tab of female singers in this first edition, and has established herself as the first female Albanian presenter in 2019, reasoning with her philosophy in front of the Italian moderator Amadeus, and erasing with a single pencils, for years other names that have had the honor to present and direct the Song Festival such as: Vera Zheji (1963); Drita Bardhi-Haxhiraj biles 5 editions (1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968); Elizabeth Vasili (1969); Adriana Fishta (1970); Edi Luarasi (1971, 1972), coming to Flutura Cangu in 1973, and even in every subsequent edition, there have been female presenters accompanied by a male partner. If Mrs. Vejsiu thinks that she was the only one without a male partner, then the answer is as follows: Female presenters, the only ones without a partner, we will find the actresses, Yllka Mujo in v. 1985 in the 24th edition and a year later Ema Ndoja (1986) in the edition. 25th. That's what there were before Mrs. Alketa, even capable, emancipated, maybe less known outside the Albanian territory, due to a flaw of the times of an Albania closed to the world, artistically as it was in every other field. Without a doubt, thanks to the skills of our presenters, on the contrary, we would not have been surprised at all even at that time if Silvana Brace, Zerina Kuke had stepped on the stage of "San-Remo" first. The skill or ability in this case does not lie with the person who steps on San Remo first, but thanks to the times that have changed and the great desire of the Albanians to join Europe. Flutura Cangu and the other girls, speakers, Albanian anchors of the time from Stoli Beli, Vera Zheji, Zerina Kuke, Mimoza Tafaj, Iva Hoxha, Silvana Brace, etc. were no longer behind those presenters of the neighboring country, their counterparts in Italy, the unforgettable names of c. 70s, 80s like: Maria Brivio; Marina Morgan, Beatrice Cori, Maria Givanna Elmi and others, when secretly Albanian women, the "not emancipated" watched RAI at the time when Mrs. A. Vejsiu (as a self-declared philo-Italian) had just learned to walk.
