Brunilda Halluni
One of the topics of this page is “Meteor of the stage”, with the aim of bringing out from the “dust” of oblivion some of our actresses who, regardless of their interpretive ability, have had a career as short as the light and path of a meteor! This category also includes the actress Brunilda Halluni who was not lucky enough to play in many Albanian films.
She was born in Tirana on February 21, 1965. Halluni graduated from “Petro Nini Luarasi” high school in Tirana, choosing the path of medicine as a nurse. She didn’t finish any acting school, but she still caught the eye of the directors who chose her not only for her original beauty, but also for the confidence she showed, her sensuality and special style, the intelligence she demonstrated without showing it selfishly or showing off in the roles she played in the Albanian film. She could very well have become an actress with a successful future, even though her success belongs to another profession from the art of cinematography.
Her name can be found in the movies:
“City lights” (1983)… Vera
“Autumn rains” (1984)…helping nurse Vera
“Dream of a chair” (1984)…..
“Whiteness” (1986)….nurse assistant
“Waxed shirts” (1987).
In the years of transition, after the 90s, like every other Albanian for a better life, she first emigrated to Greece and then to Canada, where she currently lives in Quebec happily with her beloved family.
