Artur Muharremi was born in Fier on June 2, 1958. He completed his studies at the High Institute of Arts for painting. On August 16, 1983, he started working as a painter near the cartoons department at Kinostudio "Shqiperia e Re". His first film as a painter was "The unexpected events of Bardhoshi" – 1983; In 1985, he made his first film as a painter and director, "Winter and Children", which was awarded the Medallion for the components at the 6th Cartoon and Documentary Film Festival. Until 1990, he made 7-8 films, among which: "The Tortoise and the Rabbit" – 1986, another film that was awarded the Second Prize at the 7th Cartoon and Documentary Film Festival. "The proud soldier" (co-author with V. Dubrovniku); "Kepurdha" and "Gethja" honored with the "Aleksander Moisiu" Award for 1988. In 1991, he emigrated with his family to Greece.
