Agim Bajko
Comedy actor, part of Tirana’s professional variety troupe “Estrada”. Host of satirical shows.

Born in Tirana on February 10, 1956.
After finishing his studies at the High Institute of Arts, started working at the Estrade in Tirana in 1979. His talent as a comic actor stood out in many roles of the nature that this type of theater applied, but he reached his highest level mainly in complete comedies, or those with one act, as well as in long skits, where the possibility to draw the figures in depth and completeness was greater.

Among them we can mention “Don Quixote” in the partial staging of the novel of the same name by M. Cervantes (1982), the role of the second groom in the comedy “Tre dhenduret” (1987) by Dionis Bubani, the professor of philosophy in the other comedy “Noble Bourgeoisie” (1989) by Moliere or even the excellent interpretation in “A man with two women”;

Agim Bajko has also been successful in several films and telefilms: “Edhe keshtu edhe ashtu” (1989) in the role of a clown; “Check Mate twice” (1986); “Mirela” (1988); “The Last Hunt” (1992); “A ram without horns” (1993); “The Lost Revolver” (1995) “The Great Appetite” (1996);

It stands out for its realistic feel to the figure. Even in cases where he widely uses elements of the grotesque and caricaturism, he leans towards sarcastic attitudes and emphasis.

Bajko has an expressive facial expression, especially that of the eyes, interpreting pleasantly with his voice as well as with the expressive comic intonations gives him, namely the casts and situations of the role.

He has been an active comedian in several TV cultural shows; After the 90s, together with the other comedian Agron Llakaj, created several comedy shows such as: “Martesa e Hasanit”, “E ema e Zeqos” in collaboration with Inis Gjoni, “TV Titanic” with Xhevair Zeneli and Pranvera Veizi, “The Greek in Himare”, “Visa Queue”, “In Bed with OSCE”, “Don Quixote in Tirana”, “Ali Pashe Tepelena”, “Gjergj Elez Alia”, “The Army Cleans”, “Moses and the Pope”, “To the Barber”; “Cleaning the figures”, “Inauguration of Miss”, “There is no room for graves”, “Corridor 8”, “II Assembly of Lezhe”, “The Greek in Kocinare”, “The price of the century” etc.

For his contribution to the television media, he was awarded the “Character of the Year” award in 2009 by the annual Radio Television evaluation. Also, in 2012 he was honored by the President of Republics Bamir Topi with the title “Great Master”.

From 2006, he directed the weekly satirical show “Bypass show” on Vizion plus Tv.
