Baftjar Çene
Actor and director of the “Zihni Sako” Theater, Gjirokaster.
Cene was born on December 18, 1942. After completing his studies at “Aleksander Moisiu” University, he will be appointed to the former House of Culture in 1965, where he will perform as an actor in almost all the activities and realisms placed near it, revealing his talent and his professionalism, which he would continue and practice further with the Professional Troupe of the “Zihni Sako” Theater, which he joined on September 30, 1970.
In the course of the years with this theater, Baftjar Çene certainly turned into one of the most famous characters loved by the public thanks to his interpretations where he has reaped undisputed success, which recognized performance from premiere to premiere.
The work of the well-known actor Baftjar Çene, near the “Zihni Sako” theater, has been simultaneously accompanied by the placement on the stage of several premieres where he has been in the role of director and assistant/director, contributing even more to the quality of the growth of the artistic level of performances placed on stage.
Baftjar Çene has also performed in Kinostudio’s films “Shqiperia e Re” such as in “Three men with Coats” or “Tales from the past”, standing out for his artistic performance.
In his 29-year-old career, Baftajar Çene has performed many shows in drama or comedy, becoming one of the main protagonists of the theater troupe, while his realisms include:
