Kujtim Prodani (1963 – 2021)
Composer, singer!
The great loss of the premature departure of such an artist is still felt. Born in Tirana on March 12, 1963. Studied at ILA, the High Institute of Music Arts. In addition to his other musical activities, he also composed music for the films: “Colors of Age” (1990), honored with a special award for music, “I love Era” (1990) and the short film “Bela” ( 2011).
Prodani is the author of 57 song texts.
He took part for the first time in the Song Festival at RTSH in 2003, the 42nd edition with the song “You my darlings”.
Prodani is the son of prominent artists in the field of music, Agim Prodani and Anita Take.
Kujtim Prodani passed away on January 6, 2021 from Covid-19, for which he had also created a song.
