The full, strong stature and voice, the sensitivity and deep experience of the role, the energy and temperament that reaches unrestrained and neurotic impulses at the key points of the dramatic conflict, were the obvious features of his acting. In the drama “The Mill of Koste Bardhit” by N. Prifti, Spiro Urumi gave the character of the miller Koste a visible intensity of action and behavior, where the emotional wealth, temperament and truth in the character’s life drew attention.

He presented Selim in “The Fisherman’s Family” by S. Pitarka in all the necessary antagonism, which increased the dramatic tension of the play, while the majestic figure of Sulejman Vokshi in the drama “Albanian Covenant” – 1979 by S. Krasniqi, interpreted in the planes of the epic and the sublime, avoiding the outer sides.

Although he is a dramatic actor, Spiro Urumi has also tried satire. Such natural conquests redeemed by drama and the psychological and neurotic tones of satire and its quirks, were an organic part of his acting, an expression of the wide range of acting tools.

Urumi also played in 12 Kinostudio feature films, starting with the role of Fulci in the film “The First Years” – 1965, as well as in the films “Guerrilla Unit” (Markalleshi) – 1969, “Conscience” (father of Art) – 1972, “Zani partizani” (commander) – 1975, “A difficult journey” (Kico) – 1977, “The Guest” (discoverer Dago) – 1979, “An incident at the port” (Niko, the manager of the pharmacy), “New mornings” (Mr. Maman) – 1980, “Second November” (Beu) – 1982, “The Trap” (Teqe’s father) – 1983 , “Nothing is forgotten” (Abdurrahman Harizi) – 1985, “Uninterrupted Melody” (Sala the warehouseman) – 1985, “Bitter spring” (consul) – 1985. “The Ballad of Kurbini (Ligur Bashi) 1990
